The Festival reaches its Fourth Edition in 2024

The festival is now in its fourth edition, a crescendo in terms of participation and the quality of the in-depth study of the various themes of the event, which, for 2024, will also be able to count on the prestigious patronage of the Fondazione di Sardegna.

Tradition and innovation, this year's theme

The formula, also in the fourth edition, will be that of the single theme that will unite all the scheduled events: the relationship between tradition and innovation, a topical subject that, as in previous editions, will be

told through the images of the photo competition, in-depth debates, film evenings and music.

The relationship between tradition and innovation brings together not two necessarily opposing concepts, but two lines of thought that can also be conceived as integrated, complementary and in strong continuity.

The current era, after the technological revolution, is certainly experiencing a moment of accentuation of the effectiveness of a representation, as opposed to the relationship between tradition and innovation.

The contents of the 4th edition of the Festival

In the evenings dedicated to debates, which will be held between July and August and between August and September, artificial intelligence, sustainable agriculture and new technologies, and mental health in the youth population will be discussed with guests from the world of culture, associations and institutions.

Music and cinema will enliven the summer evenings of the festival with artists and films in line with the festival theme.

The photography competition, for which registrations are already open and will close on 23 June on the festival's official website at festivalcomunitariocurcuris.com, will then move on to the next phase of the exhibition, which will be inaugurated in the first week of August, in the context of Casa Pilloni, and will close in the last week of September with the awarding of prizes to the winners. In addition, the thirty photographs admitted to the exhibition may be voted online on the festival's official website and in the presence of the festival in Casa Pilloni.
