The scheduled performance is inspired by the life and works of the well-known Sardinian artist Maria Lai.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p>Meeting on the theme \"<b>The CSM of Ales. This is the sound formula of Francesco Piu, who accompanies his voice with instruments such as acoustic guitar, dobro, weissenborn, banjo, lap steel and harmonica. In recent years, Francesco Piu has carved out a prominent place for himself on the Italian and international blues scene.<\/i><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><b>Sunday 13 August - Pilloni Heirs House - 7 p.m.<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Inauguration of the <b>photography exhibition<\/b> \"BEGINNINGAND END A convivial moment will follow.\u00a0<i>Now in its third year, the photography competition is open to all photographers (professional and amateur) and this year has been enhanced by the possibility for the public to vote for photos remotely by accessing the competition section in the <a href=\"https:\/\/festivalcomunitariocurcuris.com\/en\/\">festivalcommunitycurcuris.com<\/a><\/i><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><b>Thursday 17 August - Pilloni Heirs House - 9.30 p.m.<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Screening of the film '<b><i>Boyhood<\/i><\/b>\", by Richard Linklater, with Ellar Coltrane, Patricia Arquette, Etan Hawke, Lorelei Linklater, USA, 2014. -\u00a0<i>Independent film, shot over 12 years, <\/i>Boyhood<i> is a true cinematic 'experiment' that chronicles a journey through the years, from childhood to adulthood. An emotional and transcendental journey that has won multiple international awards (Academy Award, Berlin Film Festival Award, Golden Globes, BAFTA, Critics, Choice Award, AFI Awards).<\/i><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><b>Friday 18 August - Pilloni Heirs House - 6.30 p.m.<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Meeting with<b> <\/b>the<b> Prof. Carlo Casalone<\/b> and the <b>Prof. Gianluca Scroccu <\/b>on the theme of 'beginning and end'.\u00a0<i>With speeches by Prof. Carlo Casolone, lecturer at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome and Prof. Gianluca Scroccu, lecturer at the University of Cagliari, the festival theme will be addressed from different moral and historical perspectives. <\/i><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><b>Friday 22 September - Pilloni Heirs House - 6.30 p.m.<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Meeting with the <b>Prof. Umberto Curi <\/b>on the theme of 'beginning and end'.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><i>Prof. Umberto Curi, Professor Emeritus of the History of Philosophy at the University of Padua, is among the most authoritative voices in the field of philosophical thought and some of his books have won national and international prizes and awards.
