Thousands of Muslim devotees return from the Bishwa Ijtema, the second-largest Muslim congregation in the world, held in Tongi on the outskirts of Dhaka, Bangladesh. With no space inside, passengers risk their lives by clinging to the exterior of an overcrowded train. This photo documents the desperation and devotion of pilgrims determined to return home despite extreme risks. Faces in the frame express fatigue, faith, and an enduring will to persist.
